In effort to improve patient monitoring, hospitals employ virtual nurses, 3-D camera technology
Omaha World-Herald Lincoln software startup Ocuvera is developing a fall-prevention system that uses 3D cameras and an algorithm to predict patient movement and alert nurses before a fall can occur. Next month it will launch a study of the system with a UNMC fall expert. |
